Ubuntu amd ati driver yükleme ve kaldırma

How to Reinstall Ubuntu ATI

ATI provides a native Linux driver for some of its lines of graphics acceleration cards. Your graphics card, like your other computer system's hardware, needs drivers to function properly. As new updates become available, your configuration may become out of date, possibly causing malfunctions. You can resolve problems in your 3-D applications by reinstalling the ATI drivers in your Ubuntu Linux.

Instructions

    • 1
Click "Applications," "Accessories" and "Terminal" to launch the Terminal application.
    • 2
Type "sudo apt-get purge fglrx fglrx-amdcccle" to remove your existing installation. Press "Enter." If required, enter your password. Press "Y" to confirm removal
    • 3
Type "sudo rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf" and press "Enter" to remove the existing driver configuration.
    • 4
Enter "sudo apt-get install fglrx fglrx-amdcccle" to reinstall the ATI drivers and control center. Press "Enter" and "Y" if needed to confirm the installation.
    • 5
Type "sudo aticonfig --initial" and press "Enter."
    • 6
Type "Exit" and press "Enter" to exit your terminal. Log out of Ubuntu and reboot your computer for the changes to take effect.
